Paul T. Weiss

Paul Weiss is senior director for LMI’s program development initiatives and vice president of The Bureaucrat, Inc. Before joining LMI, he was vice president of Gene Rouleau & Associates, Inc. Upon leaving the federal government in 1995, he served as an independent management consultant. Before that, he served in senior federal government positions, most recently as deputy assistant secretary for administration at the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT).

Before his appointment at DOT, he was the associate director for management and budget with U.S. ACTION (now the Corporation for National Service). He earlier served as associate administrator for administration at the General Services Administration, during which time he also served on the President’s Council for Management Improvement. His early career was with the Department of Treasury, where he served as director and deputy director of personnel as well as associate director of human resources for the comptroller of the currency. He has a BA in psychology from the University of North Dakota.
